To make treatment accessible and keep it affordable, Dr. Wyma provides telehealth-only treatment on a cash pay basis.

He does not bill insurance and is not a member of any insurance panels. Payment can be made by cash/check or credit card. If requested, he will provide patients with a “superbill” each month that can be submitted for possible reimbursement by your insurance carrier.

It is the patient’s responsibility to contact their insurance carrier to discuss whether this treatment may be covered and whether pre-authorization is required for reimbursement.

Initial Consultation

Insomnia Assessment
Provided through a user-friendly and confidential video conferencing platform, this is an in-depth analysis of your sleep struggles, looking at your nightly sleep schedule and its variations, the history of your insomnia, your thoughts and habits related to sleep, and other factors that may be affecting your sleep such as medical and emotional concerns.

Several sleep-related inventories, completed by you prior to this appointment, allow you and Dr. Wyma to clarify the specific ways insomnia manifests itself and impacts your life.

We also discuss your goals for treatment and whether CBT-I is right for you. This thorough assessment allows us to collaboratively create a personally tailored treatment plan that will guide our work together.

Up to 90 minutes video meeting with Dr. Wyma
– $250, payable at time of service
– Includes review of client forms and evaluation of sleep inventories:

CBT-I Treatment
Using the information you have provided in the Assessment, each video-telehealth session in this treatment phase is designed to help you understand and implement several scientifically proven strategies to improve the quality of your sleep.

Dr. Wyma will guide you through a personalized approach to overcome habits of behavior or perceptions about sleep that have kept you stuck and unable to get the rest you need.

You will learn what goes into a good night’s sleep, how the CBT-I strategies work, and will be guided through an evidence-based process in putting those strategies into practice.

– Fee: $180 per session, due at time of service

CPAP/BiPAP Desensitization
Some patients find difficulty tolerating their CPAP/BiPAP mask, which can result in underuse or complete discontinuation of this important device for those suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

OSA, if left untreated, can result in high levels of daytime fatigue, problems with concentration and mental alertness, nodding off at inopportune times (including falling asleep at the wheel), and other problems in functioning and health.

CPAP desensitization is a proven process to help improve CPAP/BiPAP tolerance for OSA patients.

– Up to 45 min. weekly or biweekly sessions
– Fee: $180 for session, due at time of service
